products to assure their excellence, timeliness and suitability by providing an
environment that expects quality and provides the tools to assure quality products.

the diversity of our employees, to further the accomplishment of our mission.
PRODUCTIVITY - Apply performance management
principles to ensure that activities of personnel bring about performance results that are
aligned with FDAs consumer protection mission and which utilize information
technology advantageously.
ENFORCEMENT - Support balanced use of a broad
array of enforcement tools and activities of regulatory oversight and civil and criminal
investigation of suspected FDA violations and violators.
CULTURE - Communicate and encourage a culture
that focuses on impacts, customer service, quality of employee worklife, and quality work
products.
LEVERAGING AND PARTNERSHIPS - Consider
leveraging as a primary strategy, actively seeking out opportunities for collaboration
with stakeholders that further consumer protection by sharing of data, enhancing
communications, and promoting efficient utilization of resources.
STRENGTHEN SCIENCE BASE - Support programs
including certification that expand scientific expertise and knowledge; maintain and
enhance infrastructure, equipment, and facilities required for program accomplishment; and
incorporate the most advanced techniques and information in science, policy, regulatory
processes, and organizational development.
