The Regulatory Plan is published as part of the fall edition of the Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions. The Plan identifies regulatory priorities and contains information about the most important significant regulatory actions that agencies expect to take in the coming year. Executive Order 12866 "Regulatory Planning and Review" (58 FR 51735; October 4, 1993) and Office of Management and Budget memoranda implementing section 4 of that Order specify the types of information that agencies include in their regulatory plans.
