Transportation Audits Filing a Protest
Computer with keyboard

A Transportation Service Provider (TSP) in receipt of a Notice of Overcharge may rebut or protest the correctness of all or part of the overcharge.  A letter of protest must contain the basis of the objection (including source of rates) and any substantiating documentation. Address protests to General Services Administration, Audit Division (FBA), 1800 F Street, NW, Washington, DC 20405.

A protest will be entered into the Transportation Audits Receivable/Payable System (TARPS) and a letter of acknowledgement will be sent to the TSP. No collection action will be taken until the review of the protest is completed. The TSP will be notified of the results by mail.
