Shattuckville, 1.2 mi south of Griswoldville, and 1.3 mi upstream from
mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--89.0 mi2.

November 1939 monthly discharge only, published in WSP 1301.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 458.36 ft above sea level.
REMARKS.--Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which
are poor. Diurnal fluctuation at times caused by mill upstream; because
storage capacity is small, daily flows are not affected appreciably. Prior to
1950, greater regulation by mill. Telephone and satellite gage-height
telemeter at station.
