Oct. 9, 1921, to Sept. 30, 1932, water-stage recorder; all at site 9 mi
downstream at datum 1.00 ft lower. Since Oct. 1, 1929, water-stage recorder at
present site and datum.
REMARKS.--Records good except those above 50,000 ft3/s, which
are fair. Flow regulated by powerplants and by First Connecticut and Second
Connecticut Lakes, Lake Francis, Moore and Comerford Reservoirs, and other
reservoirs, combined usable capacity, about 43,400,000,000 ft3.
