LOCATION.--Lat 42°02'07", long 75°48'12", Broome County, Hydrologic Unit 02050101, on left bank at abutment of former highway bridge, 500 ft upstream from bridge on County Highway 304 at Conklin, 0.7 mi downstream from Little Snake Creek, and 3.5 mi downstream from Pennsylvania-New York State line. DRAINAGE AREA.--2,232 mi2. PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1912 to current year. REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1672: 1918(M, P). WSP 2103: Drainage area. WDR NY-81-3: 1918 (M, P). GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 841.04 ft above sea level. Prior to Oct. 4, 1914, nonrecording gage at same site and datum. REMARKS.--Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are fair. Minor regulation by upstream lakes and reservoirs. Telephone and satellite gage-height telemeters at station. Several measurements of water temperature were made during the year. |
