STATION.--01586210  BEAVER RUN NEAR FINKSBURG, MD
LOCATION.--Lat 39°29'22.0", long 76°54'10.6", Carroll County, Hydrologic Unit 02060003,
   on downstream center line of bridge pier on Hughes Road, 0.25 mi northwest of intersection of Hughes
   Road and Maryland Route 91, and 0.75 mi southwest of Finksburg.
DRAINAGE AREA.--14.0 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1982 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 428.70 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey gage-height telemeter at station. Water-quality records for some 
   prior periods have been collected at this location. 
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 2,150 ft3/s, May 6, 1989,
   gage height, 5.70 ft; minimum discharge, 0.23 ft3/s, Aug. 21-23, 2002.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Baltimore City Department of
   Public Works, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
