STATION.--01610155  SIDELING HILL CREEK NEAR BELLEGROVE, MD
LOCATION.--Lat 39°38´58.3", long 78°20´38.9", Washington County,  Hydrologic Unit 02070003,
   on left bank at downstream side of bridge on Zeigler Road, 1.2 mi upstream from mouth, and 4.0 mi
   south of Bellegrove.
DRAINAGE AREA.--102 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1967 to September 1977, April 1999 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and concrete control. Datum of gage is  440.41 ft above National Geodetic
   Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS.--Records good above 1.0 ft3/s and poor below.  U.S. Geological Survey gage-height
   telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 14,200 ft3/s, June 22, 1972, gage height,
   12.44 ft; minimum discharge, 0.0 ft3/s, no flow Aug. 17-31, Sep. 1-10, 1968,
   Aug. 6-25, 1999.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Maryland State
   Highway Administration, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
