USGS 02232200 WOLF CREEK NEAR DEER PARK, FLA.

 

PROVISIONAL DATA SUBJECT TO REVISION

 
 
 

LOCATION.--Lat 28°12'46", long 80°54'40", in NW1/4 sec.22, T.26 S., R.34 E., Osceola County, Hydrologic Unit 03080101, near right bank on upstream side of bridge on State Highway 419, 2.9 mi upstream from mouth, and 8.5 mi north of Deer Park.

DRAINAGE AREA.--25.7 sq.mi.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--January 1956 to current year.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 19.35 ft above sea level. Prior to July 13, 1967, at site 0.8 mi downstream at same datum.

REMARKS.--Since October 1970 flow regulated to some extent following the construction of Jane Green Reservoir; levees were construc ted and an interconnecting canal was dug joining the watershed areas of Taylor, Pennywash, Cox, and Wolf Creeks.
