LOCATION.--Lat 40°44'03", long 81°21'08", in sec. 34, T.10 N., R.8 W., Stark
County, Hydrologic Unit 05040001, on left bank upstream abutment of
Baum Rd. bridge, 400 ft northeast of Ridge St in North Industry, and
2.1 mi downstream from Sherrick Run.
DRAINAGE AREA.--175 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1921 to current year.
REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1113: 1924-30, 1932-37, 1938(M), 1939-40, 1943(M),
1945(P). WSP 1555: 1929, 1935, 1937(M), 1940(M), 1950(M).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 976.72 ft above NGVD 1912.
Prior to Dec. 13, 1923, nonrecording gage at present site at
different datum. Prior to Dec. 11, 1990 at site 0.9 mile downstream at
datum 5.95 ft lower.
REMARKS.--Low flow slightly regulated by plants at Canton. Records include
diversion from Sugar Creek well field. Water-quality data collected at
this site 1964 to 1969, 1975, 1977. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
satellite telemeter at station.
