 04062011  BRULE RIVER NEAR COMMONWEALTH, WI

 LOCATION.--Lat 45°56'51", long 88°12'55", in NW1/4 sec. 14, T.40 N., 
 R.18 E., Wisconsin Meridian, Florence County, Hydrologic Unit 04030106, on 
 right bank 900 ft downstream from Brule Island Dam, 1.5 mi upstream from 
 confluence with Michigamme River, and 2.8 mi north of Commonwealth, WI.

 DRAINAGE AREA.--1,020 mi2.

 PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1989 to current year.

 REVISED RECORDS.--WDR MI-91-1:  1990(M).

 GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage.  Elevation of gage is 1,130
 ft above sea level, from topographic map.

 Station operated in cooperation with We Energies.
