  LOCATION
 

LOCATION.--Lat 42°52'25", long 87°59'45", in SE 1/4 sec.22, T.5 N., R.21 E., Milwaukee County, 

Hydrologic Unit 04040002, on right bank 400 ft upstream from State Highway 100, 2.1 mi upstream from 

Root River Canal, 2.4 mi southeast of Franklin, 5.5 mi southeast of Hales Corners, and about 24 mi 

upstream from mouth.

 

DRAINAGE AREA.--49.2 square miles.

 

PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1963 to current year.

 

REVISED RECORD.--WDR WI-81-1:  Drainage area.  WDR WI-83-1:  1981.

 

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder.  Datum of gage is 674.5 ft above sea level.

 

REMARKS.--Flow affected by urbanization in the drainage basin.  Gage-height telemeter at station.

 

Station operated in cooperation with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District and the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission.
