LOCATION.--Lat 42°19'26", long 85°11'51", in SW1/4 sec.1, T.2 S.,
R.8 W., Calhoun County, Hydrologic Unit 04050003, on left bank 20
ft upstream from bridge on Kendall Street in Battle Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA.--824 mi2
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1937 to current year. Monthly discharge only
for some periods, published in WSP 1307.
REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 924: 1938-39. WSP 1387: 1938, 1945-46, 1948.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 815 ft above sea
level, from topographic map. Prior to Oct. 1, 1957, water-stage recorder
at site 4.7 mi downstream at different datum. Oct. 1, 1957 to June 15,
1959, nonrecording gage at bridge 1,800 ft upstream at different datum.
June 16, 1959 to Oct. 13, 1960, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
Station operated in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Transportation.
