  05408000 KICKAPOO RIVER AT LA FARGE, WI
LOCATION.--Lat 43°34'27", long 90°38'35", on east-west quarter section line in W1/2 sec.29, T.13 N., R.2 W., Vernon County, Hydrologic Unit 07070006, on left bank 10 ft upstream from bridge on State Highway 82, in La Farge, 0.3 mi upstream from Otter Creek. 

DRAINAGE AREA.--266 mi2

PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1938 to current year. 

REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1388: 1951(M), 1954(M). WSP 1438: 1944-45(M), 1946, 1948, 1950(M). 

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 781.54 ft above sea level. Prior to Dec. 4, 1939, nonrecording gage on highway bridge at same datum. 

REMARKS.--Gage-height telemeter at station.

Station operated in cooperation with the Kickapoo Valley Reserve with support from the Vernon County Conservation Department, the Village of La Farge and Trout Unlimited
