 STATION.--11502500  WILLIAMSON RIVER BELOW SPRAGUE RIVER, NEAR CHILOQUIN, OR
LOCATION.--Lat 42° 33'54", long 121° 52'42", in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.4, T.35 S., R.7 E., Klamath County, Hydrologic Unit 18010202, on right bank 0.8 mi downstream from Sprague River and 1.2 mi southwest of Chiloquin, and at mile 10.3.[location map] DRAINAGE AREA.--3,000 mi2 approximately. PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 1917 to current year. Monthly discharge only for October 1922 to August 1923 published in WSP 1315-B. GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 4,148.50 ft above NGVD of 1929. September 1, 1923 to July 12, 1991 at site 0.6 mi upstream at datum 7.05 ft higher. Prior to September 1, 1923, at different datum. REMARKS.--Some regulation by diversion dams and logpond operations on Sprague River. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 17,100 ft3/s Jan. 5, 1997, gage height, 10.27 ft; minimum discharge, 285 ft3/s Aug. 6, 8, 9, 1994.
