STATION.--14302480 TRASK RIVER ABOVE CEDAR CREEK NR TILLAMOOK, OR
LOCATION.--Lat 45° 26'47", Long 123° 42'23", in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.30.,T.1.S, R.8.W, Tillamook County, Hydrologic Unit 17100203, on right bank, 0.1 mi upsteam from Cedar Creek, 6.8 mi east of Tillamook and at mile 10.95. DRAINAGE AREA.-- 156 mi2, at Long Prairie Road bridge, 4.0 miles downstream where all discharge measurements are made. PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1996 to March 2004. GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is approximately 50.0 ft. above NGVD of 1929. ELEVATION.--Gage is 70.0 ft above NGVD of 1929. REMARKS.--No regulation. Water is diverted from the J.W.Barney Reservoir (capacity 20,000 acre-ft) on the Middle Fork of the North Fork of the Trask River to the Tualatin River for domestic use and pollution abatement by the City of Hillboro. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF REFCORD.--Maximum discharge, 22,500 ft3/s Nov. 25, 1999, gage height, 21.77 ft; minimum discharge, 63 ft3/s Oct. 3-5, 1999. EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood of Feb. 8, 1996 reached a stage of 23.2 ft, from floodmark; discharge, 25,800 ft3/s, from slope-area measurement.
