FDA CHAPTER OF SIGMA XI ANNOUNCES AN OPEN HOUSE AT
CENTER FOR VETERINARY MEDICINE
APRIL 21, 1999, FROM 1 - 3 PM


The FDA Chapter will host a tour of the research facility at MOD-1 facility in Laurel Maryland. Dr. Jurgen Von Bredlow, vice-president of FDA Chapter has set the Program's Agenda.

We would like to invite each of you from the various FDA Centers to attend and participate In the program on 21 April from 1 - 3 pm. The program is designed to encourage members from the several Centers to meet, discuss and exchange information about the overall mission of each of our particular units as well as that of FDA.

The tour of the facility in Laurel, Maryland will provide an interesting view of their facilities.

We encourage our members (non-members are welcome and invitations should be extended to them) to hear about some of the programs at CVM and scientific endeavors And possibly set-up some collaborative efforts for the future.

DIRECTIONS TO THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH, CENTER for VETERINARY MEDICINE

Take 495 East to Route US#1 North
Continue North on US#1, through Beltsville, to Muirkirk Rd.
Left entrance (get in left-hand lane) to Muirkirk only
Right (East) on Muirkirk Rd. - main road
Continue East on Muirkirk for about one mile
Entrance to FDA Campus on right side (across from Blue Ponds Development)
Main Building is MOD-1, Check with the Security Guard at the gate
CVM located - in MOD-2 which is located behind MOD-1
Follow signs to MAIN CONFERENCE ROOM
