BLM AZ, Palominas 85615 Volunteers are needed to assist the Palominas Area BLM along with the Polominas Firewise Community, Palominas Community Alliance, Palominas Fire Department, and the Boy Scouts of America to create a firebreak, restore native vegetation and to pretreat cottonwoods to protect them from prescribed fire in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. 9th Annual Fall Mystic River Cleanup Mary

Various MA, Medford 02155 Volunteers are needed to assist the Friends of the Mystic River cleanup the shorelines of along the Mystic River. Rakes, bags, gloves, and pokers will be supplied, or bring your own. Refreshments will be provided. Directions: meet at the parking lot off Route 16 (Mystic Valley Parkway), where the parkway crosses the Mystic River, near the Condon band shell in Medford. The parking lot is east of Winthrop Street (Route 38) and west of Main Street and Route 93. For more information please visit the Friends of Mystic River website at: www.mysticriver.org/fomr/

Various FL, Clermont 34714 The Friends of Lake Louisa State Park will host a volunteer workday where people from the community can volunteer on one of two different hurricane relief projects at the park> "Adopt-a-highway" Cleanup and Trail cleanup. We would love to see new faces from the community. Lunch will be provided to all volunteers who participate, courtesy of the Friends of Lake Louisa State Park.

Various FL, Big Pine Key 33043 Join the members of Key West High School’s National Honor Society as they cleanup one of the Florida Keys’ most beautiful beaches. Bring water, insect repellent, sunscreen, gloves, and hats. You may want to pack a lunch or you may purchase food and drink items at the park’s concession. The park will provide trash bags.
