Important Notice Regarding the Public Record

The FTC has established a new Records and Filings Office in the Office of the Executive Director. Among its other duties, the RFO is responsible for maintaining the public record for the Commission. Public record binders will continue to be available on request at the Consumer Response Center, Room 130 of the FTC’s Headquarters Building, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20580. However, because of a physical move of the RFO’s Records Disposition section, it will now be necessary to request public record binders at least five full business days in advance. The Commission will make every effort to make public record binders available in the Consumer Response Center the fifth business day after the request, though in some instances availability may take longer. The FTC will update this notice as events warrant.
