Training Announcement: CDC's Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP) will host Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Seminar.  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will present the application.  The training seminar will focus on the food process of HACCP and will be practical for restaurant style application on cruise ships.

 
Who should attend: Cruise line employees that participate in CDC’s Vessel Sanitation Program. The target audiences are food and beverage managers, corporate executive chefs, corporate sanitation and public health officers, and those responsible for recipe development.

Space is limited to 60 people.
 
Benefits: The HACCP training seminar will refresh and develop skills for preventative measures with critical limits for control points, monitoring critical control points, verifying that systems are properly functioning, record keeping, and proactive and responsive strategies to system functions.
 

Dates: January 12–14, 2005. The meeting will start each day at 0800. The last day of the meeting (January 14) will finish at 1200. 

 

Location:  Doubletree Grand Hotel, 1717 North Bayshore Drive, Miami, FL  33132.
