NDAAC Directory

National Directory of AHERA Accredited Courses (NDAAC)

(As of November 2003)

Introduction to the NDAAC Directory - The National Directory of AHERA Accredited Courses (the "Course Directory") is intended primarily for use by federal and state agencies involved in the training and accreditation of asbestos control professionals under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA), as amended by the Asbestos School Hazard Abatement Reauthorization Act of 1990 (ASHARA), under which the EPA Model Accreditation plan was issued.  It contains information about training providers and approved courses nationwide and is meant to serve as a comprehensive reference and resource document.  It should also be useful for those training providers who offer accredited asbestos courses and to all consumers of these training services. This directory is only available in electronic format and is no longer offered in print.

NDAAC Directory -  The data contained in the NDAAC directory has been sorted into various categories in order to provide users with varied search options.  You may search the directory for key words (i.e., provider name, ID number, location or approving body) using the Binoculars Icon (Adobe's search function) in the Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Active NDAAC Training Providers - These files contains only active training providers and providers who have become inactive in the last 12 months.  The training providers in these files are sorted by location and by the accrediting body.  The files have been sorted by state and EPA Region. For example, a training provider who received their accreditation from Maine but whose parent company is located in Massachusetts would be listed under the following files:  Maine, Massachusetts and Region 1.
