Anti-Cholesterol (Hyperlipidemia) Drugs Anticholesterol drugs are used to reduce the production of cholesterol in the body. They include Zocor (simvastatin), Lipitor (atorvastatin calcium), Lescol (fluvastatin), Lopid (gemfibrozil), and Pravachol (pravastatin sodium).
