NLM partners with the University of Arizona to provide internships for Hispanic or Native American library school students.

Jesus People Against Pollution (JPAP)
JPAP is a small community-based organization which serves a population severely affected by the explosion and subsequent fire in a chemical plant. NLM provides funding for health information training and computers.

Knoxville Faith-Based Collaboration - Consumer Health Resource Information Services (CHRIS) Project
The Consumer Health Resource Information Service (CHRIS) Project is a faith-based pilot program designed to address minority health disparities through community level health intervention and prevention measures in 6 predominantly African American churches in the inner city of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Project of Intermediate Advocates (PIA)
PIA, a small community-based organization, raises awareness of electronic health information resources for HIV positive individuals and other local AIDS service organizations.
