SOUTHEAST ARIZONA FORECAST DISCUSSION

.SYNOPSIS...DRY AND WARMER FOR MOST OF THE AREA THIS WEEKEND. A WEAK
SYSTEM WILL CLIP NORTHEAST ARIZONA SUNDAY WITH BREEZES AND SOME
CLOUDS FOR THE AREA...AND A FEW SHOWERS IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS. DRY
AND WARMER WITH HIGH PRESSURE MOST OF NEXT WEEK.

&&

.DISCUSSION...MOSTLY CLEAR WITH JUST CIRRUS LEVEL MOISTURE AND A
TOUCH LEFT IN THE BOUNDARY LAYER AS A SECONDARY BIT OF ENERGY KEEPS
A WEAK TROUGH GEOMETRY OVER US TODAY. STRONGER ENERGY AND MOISTURE
PUSHES THROUGH THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL ROCKIES LATE SUNDAY INTO
EARLY MONDAY JUST BRUSHING THROUGH NORTHEAST ARIZONA. BREEZES AND
CLOUDS FOR US LATE SUNDAY ALONG WITH SEVERAL DEGREES OF COOLING
AGAIN FOR MONDAY. LOW AMPLITUDE LARGE SCALE RIDGE INFLUENCES THE
WEATHER THROUGH AT LEAST WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY...TEMPERATURES BACK
TO CLIMO BY THEN AFTER A COUPLE OF COOL NIGHTS MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
UNCERTAIN PATTERN TO END THE WEEK...HOW WELL WILL THE RIDGE HOLD IN
JUST OFF SHORE...AND HOW FAR EAST WILL THE NEXT SIGNIFICANT STORM
START TO DIG INTO THE CONUS? RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS LIKE MORE OF A
GLANCING BLOW FOR SOUTHEAST ARIZONA WITH PROTECTION UNDER THE
EASTERN FLANK OF A STRONG RIDGE. WE`LL SEE...FOR RIGHT NOW WE`LL
SHOW A FEW DEGREES OF COOLING AND PARTLY CLOUDY IN SPOTS TO END THE
WEEK.

&&

.TWC WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES...NONE.
