State and National Streamflow Conditions
Click on the maps below to retrieve local or
national real-time data and station information.

 NOTICE!
IMPORTANT NEWS!

On October 1, 2004, 10 of the stations on the map below will discontinue collecting continuous streamflow data unless new funding partners are found. Legislation authorizing the USGS national Cooperative Water Program, which supports the streamgages, requires that the USGS only spend its funds if they are matched by other sources. Although historic data will remain accessible, real-time continuous streamflow data will no longer be collected at the discontinued streamgages.

Click here to see a list of affected streamgages as well as contact information.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) provides maps, reports and information to help others meet their needs to manage, develop, and protect America's water, energy, mineral, and land resources. We help find natural resources needed to build tomorrow, and supply scientific understanding needed to help minimize or mitigate the effects of natural hazards and environmental damage caused by human activities. The results of our efforts touch the daily lives of almost every American.
