The Information Resource Center now has state-of-the-art digital resources to access relevant information from all over the world. Over 5000 full-text journals are now available at the IRC on online format. The Internet is the cornerstone of information access. The IRC also provides experienced researchers to assist you in your information quest. We invite you to visit the IRC and receive an orientation to our resources. The IRC will also provide free tutorials on how to access US Internet sites. Whether your information need is in the economic, political, or cultural areas, the IRC is there to assist you.

FIRST SEARCH

First Search provides access to more than 55 databases. This powerful tool increases the availability of reference information by providing seamless access to bibliographic, abstract, and full-text information with photographs and other images.

GALENET

GaleNet is a one-stop shopping database for Gale Research products available on the World Wide Web. This covers Encyclopedia of Associations; Contemporary Authors; Research Centers Family of Directories; Directories of Publications & Broadcast Media; Gale Directory of Databases, Gale Guide to Internet Databases; Biography & Genealogy Master Index; Gale Business Resources.

STAT-USA

The U.S. Department of Commerce Economics and Statistics Administration supports this online information resource. It contains crucial and timely business and economic information produced by Federal agencies.

Nexis/Lexis

Nexis/Lexis provides online full-text legal, news and business information from over 3,200 legal and business publications.

ProQuest

Over 1000 periodicals with image and/or on-line full-text or abstracts. Articles can be retrieved by doing a search or by browsing the magazine or the paper itself. ProQuest covers 1994 to present.

PDQ

Accessible on the internet through the World Wide Web, PDQ provides information international relations and foreign affairs from most publications produced by IIP.
