DOTABLES

Dissolved oxygen saturation tables

Information

The DOTABLES program can be utilized on-line from this web page to generate tables of dissolved oxygen (DO) saturation values and (or) salinity correction factors over ranges of temperature, pressure, and specific conductance.

Software

DOTABLES is executed from this page by specifying the type of table to be displayed and the input parameters to be used and then selecting "Display table" below.

Table type and temperature range options:

Dissolved oxygen saturation values to 0.1 mg/L
Dissolved oxygen saturation values to 0.01 mg/L
Salinity correction factors

Starting temperature (C)
Temperature increment (C)
Ending temperature (C)

Input parameters specific to dissolved oxygen saturation values:

Starting barometric pressure (mmHg)
Barometric pressure decrement (mmHg)
Ending barometric pressure (mmHg, must be less than starting pressure)

Input parameters specific to salinity correction factors:

Starting specific conductance (uS/cm @ 25 degrees C)
Specific conductance increment (uS/cm @ 25 degrees C)
Ending specific conductance (uS/cm @ 25 degrees C)

USGS methods for determining dissolved oxygen concentrations are documented in:
