Hydraulics Laboratory

The Office of Surface Water at NASA's Stennis Space Center (SSC) is unique among the U.S. Geological Survey's activities. Of principal interest are: An indoor hydraulics laboratory housed in a 35,000 square foot area and an outdoor flood-plain simulation facility covering about 30 acres. The OSW at SSC is located near Bay St. Louis, MS, about 50 miles northeast of New Orleans, LA.

The laboratory facilities are available for rent to other government agencies, universities, and private industry. Information on rental may be obtained by contacting the Chief, Hydraulic Laboratory Facilities Project.
