How do I move around the site?
There are many ways you can move within and between the main areas of the H.I.P. Pocket Change Web site.  Here are some navigation "hot spots" you'll want to click during your cyber travels:

    • No matter where you are within the site, you can return to the home page by clicking on Flip the Mint Seal in the upper-left corner of the screen.
    • On every page you'll see the Main Coin Menu on the left side of your screen.  Click any of the section coins listed there to go directly to the first page for that area or section.  For example, clicking "Games" takes you to the start of the Games area; clicking "Teachers" takes you to the first page of that section.
    • In addition, you'll find a Text Menu at the bottom of each page.  You can always click these hot-linked words to go to the home page or the other major sections within the site.
    • Clicking Site Map on the bottom Text Menu will take you to a listing of all pages within the HPC Web site.  Click the name of any page to go directly there.
    • As you are reading your way through the site, you'll find hot-linked words within the text.  Clicking these will take you to the glossary.
    • Throughout the site, you'll also find dozens of image links.  For example, on the home page, you can mouse over on the large graphic there and with a mouse click, go directly to that area.

When in doubt, move your mouse over a word or an image.  If the arrow changes to a pointing finger, that means you've found a "clickable" hot spot.  [top]

    What plug-ins do I need?
To play many of the H.I.P. Pocket Change games or cartoons, or to view the site's new animated home page, you must download the Macromedia Flash Player™ onto your computer.  If you don't already have it installed on your machine, or if you need an updated version, you can download a free copy of the player from the Macromedia Web site.

How can I view Portable Document Format files?
To view Portable Document Format (PDF) files, you must download Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® onto your computer.  If this is not already installed on your machine, or if you'd like an updated version, you can download a free copy from the Adobe® Web site.

Why can't I see an activity I chose?
You may currently have a software loaded onto your computer which blocks pop-up screens from appearing.  As many of the games and cartoons on H.I.P. Pocket Change open up a new browser window, this software may not allow these screens to be viewed.

How do I search the site?
The H.I.P. Pocket Change Web site features a "super" search engine.

    • The Search can be found in the upper right corner of the Web page.  Type in the box the keyword you want to find and then press the RETURN / ENTER key.
