(9/09/2002) Weather Radio frequency change planned for the Clinton transmitter. National Weather Service weather radio station WXK-87, serving Clinton and surrounding areas of west-central Oklahoma, will be changing frequencies on December 3, 2002. Broadcasts on the old frequency of 162.475 megahertz will be moved to a new frequency of 162.525 megahertz. You find out more information by clicking on this link.

(1/12/2002) A link to a special needs NOAA weather radio page has been added. A web page has been created by the National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL) and NWS Norman to provide information and links to companies who sell special-needs NOAA weather radios. These weather radios have been designed to adapt to the needs of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The web page can be found directly at: http://www.nssl.noaa.gov/NWR/.
