Submit a Manuscript

Preventing Chronic Disease (PCD) uses PCD Manuscript Central for manuscript
submission and tracking. To submit a manuscript through PCD Manuscript
Central, please click here.
Please follow these instructions before you submit a manuscript:
- Include a cover letter indicating the type of article you are
submitting and verifying that the final manuscript has been seen and
approved by all authors.
- The cover letter should disclose any and all conflicts of interest.
Disclosure should include any information about the authors'
professional or financial affiliations that may potentially be regarded
as having biased the manuscript. Financial conflicts include employment,
salary, consulting fees, honoraria, stock or equity interests, expert
testimony, and intellectual property rights (e.g., patents, royalties,
and copyrights).
- The cover letter should also verify that the manuscript discloses all
financial support for the work described in the article.
- A statement indicating that the appropriate Institutional Review Board
(IRB) approved the research must accompany every submission of an
Original Research Report.

Central.
You will receive an e-mail response acknowledging receipt of your
manuscript. The response will include a manuscript number. Please refer to
the manuscript number in all further correspondence.
After you have received our e-mail response acknowledging receipt of your
manuscript, send an Author's Statement
(DOC–61K) for each author to the
journal office by fax (770-488-8635) or by mail (Editor, Preventing
Chronic Disease, Mailstop K-85, 4770 Buford Highway, NE, Atlanta, GA,
30341-3717). |
