to HRTC
The Human Resources Technology Council is an interagency
group - the principal advisory body to the United States Federal
Government on governmentwide information technology issues affecting
personnel and payroll. The Council is composed of senior executives
who have primary corporate decision-making authority for human resources
(HR), information technology (IT), or finances within their agency.
Chartered in 1997 by the United States Office of Personnel Management,
the HRTC meets at scheduled intervals during the year, and now includes
65 members.

Projects
In
addition to serving as a forum for resolving issues and exchanging
ideas and advice on IT related to HR administration, the HRTC also
conducts several projects across agencies, including; the governmentwide
Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
study, the Official Personnel File (OPF) Data
Dictionary, and the Federal Human Resources Data Network (HRDN).
Meeting
Information
The
Planning Committee meets the first Friday of each month to discuss
the priorities and on-going initiatives that will be addressed and
led by its members. The committee also plans the agenda of the Full
Council.
The
Full Council Meets the first Friday of each quarter.
