Terms and Conditions

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) designed the lists of serials products to provide bibliographic information for serials from which articles are indexed with the MeSH vocabulary and cited in MEDLINE®, the backbone of NLM's PubMed® database. More detailed bibliographic data and information about indexing coverage for serials cited in PubMed can be found in LocatorPlus, NLM's online catalog, at http://locatorplus.gov.

Both the List of Journals Indexed in Index Medicus (LJI) and the List of Serials Indexed for Online Users (LSI) are updated annually, and users of this information are encouraged to obtain the most current data. The new versions are generally available by February of the edition year.

The data are available to all requesters, both within and outside the United States. There is no charge for obtaining the data.

Downloading serials data through this site indicates your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

  1.
