About The FastLane Electronic Reference Report Process
Before you can prepare a Reference Report, the Applicant must give you his/her Applicant Reference Code. Then you may begin preparation of a Reference Report by clicking on Begin New Reference Report.

Helpful Hint: Use the "Tab" key to move forward from one entry field to the next. Use the Scroll Bar on the right to move down the page.

You will be asked to enter the Applicant Reference Code, your name, a Password of your own choice and your e-mail address. If you are a reference for more than one applicant, you may use the same Password for each Reference Report. Remember the Reference Code and your Password because you will need them to revise or submit your Reference Report.

Once you have begun preparation of the Reference Report, you will be able to save it as a "draft" for later completion, or you can complete and submit it to NSF. After you have submitted the Reference Report or saved it as a "draft", you will be able to view/print it by clicking on 'View Submitted Reference Report'. If you need to revise the Reference Report after submitting it, you may do so by sending a revised report to GRF Operations Center, c/o ASEE, 1818 N Street, N.W. Suite 600, Washington, DC 20036.
