The D-242 regulation that provides federal agencies with general guidelines to assist them in implementing the "Siting of Mobile Services Antenna on Federal Properties" and Section 704C of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-104) is hereby extended indefinitely.

All Executive departments and agencies should follow the guidelines and procedures specified in the regulation contained herein. In addition, all independent regulatory commissions and agencies are also requested to comply with these requirements.
