Visitor Policy

The policy for supplier/visitor access to the Brookhaven site and Procurement and Property Management (PPM) facilities is as follows:

All suppliers/visitors must:

  • Have an appointment with any BNL, DOE, and National Weather Service employees they wish to see.

  • Obey all BNL site-wide policies and procedures including, but not limited to, traffic regulations and posted warning signs.

Appointments should be made at least 24 hours in advance to allow sufficient time for notification of the Main Gate. This will expedite your entrance to the site with a minimum of inconvenience. For those who arrive at the Main Gate without an appointment, access will be at the buyer/contract specialist’s discretion, and the visitor may be turned away.

Please advise your representatives of this policy to avoid inconvenience or misunderstanding.
