ADR Policy

FNS and CNPP ADR Policy

ADR policy for the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion (CNPP).

POLICY

  • Make ADR available as an alternative means of resolving employment and program disputes, during pre-complaint and or formal complaint processes, amicably and fairly.
  • Encourages FNS employees and customers to utilize the ADR program for the timely and effective resolution of complaints, disputes and other work-related program disputes, as soon as issues arise.
  • Develop and support a pool of neutrals to assist parties in participating in alternative methods for resolving disputes.
  • Ensure fairness, neutrality, and confidentiality in administration of the ADR program.
