Summary - Modifies the Kansas Medicaid program to include the provision of medical assistance for individuals with a diagnosis of breast cancer or cervical cancer, including but not limited to treatment and follow-up care and medications, with applicable incomes that do not exceed 250% of the poverty level established under the most recent poverty guidelines issued by the federal Department of Health and Human Services. For purposes of eligibility for such medical assistance, the diagnosis of breast cancer or cervical cancer shall be based upon diagnostic criteria and procedures which at a minimum are as strict as the guidelines of the Title XV screening and diagnostic program of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
