GSA's Travel Management Policy provides information to administer the laws governing travel and relocation allowances and entitlements for federal employees. 

These efforts involve:

  • Continuous evaluation of travel and relocation programs and policies
  • Examining new technologies and automated systems
  • Analyzing the impact of current and proposed regulations, laws, executive orders, and international agreements
  • Facilitating the Interagency Travel Management Committee (ITMC)
  • Education and training of federal travel professionals
