When a spot forecast is needed by a customer within the National Weather Service (NWS) Northern Indiana's area of responsibility, it may be requested through the NWS Spot Website.  Once the request has been sent by the requesting official, the staff at NWS Northern Indiana will receive notification within 5 minutes, via the NWS in-house computer system.  A NWS forecaster will then compose and send the requested forecast.
