Topical and Keyword Searches

Searching from this page will limit your search to the Science & Engineering Indicators 2002 report. (To search the entire Science Resources Statistics document collection, use the SRS Web site's search page.)

You can search Indicators 2002:

• Using the Topical Search to find sections of Indicators 2002 related to specific topics, grouped by chapter subjects. The topical search page opens a new browser window so that you can refer to the topics page while browsing the report.

Keyword Search

You may search for one or more keywords or phrases; to search for multiple keywords, separate them with commas:

industry, research and development, funding

In this case, your search finds all sections of Indicators 2002 containing "industry," "research and development." or "funding." The sections will be ranked in terms of relevance.

You may do a more complex search using boolean operators such as AND, OR and NOT. For example, entering

industry AND funding
