Budget

The Board approves the Foundation's budget submissions to the Office of Management and Budget.

The Committee on Strategy and Budget analyzes NSF's budget to ensure progress and consistency against the strategic direction set for NSF and to ensure balance between initiatives and core programs. The committee identifies issues (national, international, and internal to NSF) that are critical to NSF's future and makes recommendations to the full Board for approval of strategic budget directions and the annual budget submission to the Office of Management and Budget.
