eOffer and eMod
GSA has developed a new revolutionary program in eOffer.  eOffer uses the latest in digital authentication technology to ensure the integrity of the data and electronically sign proposal or modification requests.  eOffer allows contractors the opportunity, under Schedule 70 only, to submit their offer completely electronically.

eMod is a function of the eOffer program that allows contractors to submit modification requests completely electronically.  This process is now available to all Schedule contract holders.  For more information on this new process go to http://eoffer.fss.gsa.gov.

Cooperative Purchasing
Under Cooperative Purchasing, state and local entities may purchase a variety of information technology (IT) from contracts awarded under GSA Schedule 70, Information Technology, as well as from contracts under the Consolidated Products and Services Schedule containing IT special item numbers.

The Cooperative Purchasing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) provide information as to its statutory authority. The FAQs also explain how Cooperative Purchasing actually works and the benefits it provides to Schedule contractors and state and local entities. Learn more at www.gsa.gov/cooperativepurchasing.

Innovation Integrated Process Team
The Office of Commercial Acquisition has established a team called the Innovation Integrated Process Team as a means to put innovative ideas into motion. The team, formed of representatives from each Acquisition Center, will solicit new and original ideas from employees within the Acquisition Centers and then attempt to see those ideas to fruition. This effort is integral to improving processes within GSA. It will take submissions from employees who have insight into the inner workings of GSA and capitalize on their suggestions.

Establishment of Industry Government Council
The IT Acquisition Center has established an Industry Government Council comprised of representatives from GSA, federal, state, and local governments (customers), and Business Partners (Vendors on Schedule). The Industry Government Council will stimulate, support and make recommendations to improve the continuing evolution, development, and implementation of the IT Acquisition Center’s Schedule programs and the GSA-intergovernmental-industry partnership.

The Council will pursue efforts to educate, research and develop, promote and market the Schedules program, establish best practices, and provide an open forum for communication.
