Meeting Registration and Hotel Registration Deadline

Both meeting and hotel registration forms (faxed and available on the Internet) must be submitted by February 3, 2003.  After this date, neither hotel availability nor rate can be guaranteed.

Accommodations

Meeting participants are requested to make their own hotel reservations.  This can be done on-line at the hotel website which has a special form for the CAOSA meeting, or by telephone or fax at the numbers listed above.

Transportation to/from the airport

Transportation at the Miami International Airport is available on the lower level of the terminal outside of the baggage claim area.  Taxi fares to the Mayfair House Hotel are approximately $20.00 for up to 4 people per taxi.  There is a Super Shuttle van service also available outside of baggage claim, and the cost is $13.00 per person.  The hotel is approximately 5 miles from the airport, and the trip should take approximately 20 minutes.  The Miami International Airport's web site provides additional information on transportation.

Passport/Visa requirements

Please consult the appropriate authorities concerning current passport and visa requirements for entry into the United States.

Currency

Foreign currency exchange is available at the airport and the hotel.

Working languages

The working languages of the meeting will be English and Spanish.  Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

Sickness or accident

Delegates are advised to have adequate insurance coverage, either at their own expense or at the expense of their nominating organization, for sickness, accident, temporary disability, death and third party risk covering the entire duration of the meetings and the journey to and from the meeting site.  The host organization accepts neither responsibility nor liability for such contingencies.
