EU Release of Private Storage Aid Pork Adds to Export Pressure
The European Union's Private Storage Aid pork scheme has been terminated after a September 14 meeting of the European Union's Pigmeat Management Committee. In combination with other factors, this action is expected to increase export pressure of EU pork late in 1999 and early in 2000.
