(Information on how to apply for a permit to float the Middle Fork, Main Salmon, Snake and Selway Rivers. Lottery applications are accepted December 1 hrough January 31, annually. Applications must reach the office by 4:30 pm on January 31.)

How to obtain a cancelled permit for the Middle Fork of the Salmon River: Cancelled launches will be allocated by telephone on a first-come, first-served basis after the initial lottery in February and continuing throughout the season. Calls will be accepted from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Mountain time, Monday through Friday at (208) 879-4101. There is no waiting list and collect calls cannot be accepted. The office is closed on Federal Holidays and weekends.

Main Salmon River
