Americans with Disability (ADA) for Managers & Supervisors

The Americans with Disability Act (ADA) gives civil rights protection to individuals with disabilities similar to those provided to individuals on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age, and religion.  It guarantees equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities in public accommodations, employment, transportation, State and Local government services, and telecommunications.  The course will provide CMS employees an awareness of the ADA and the effects that it has on employees with disabilities and the beneficiaries that the Agency serves.
