The Association is the oldest continuously operating organization of venture capitalists in the world formed just months after the passage of the Small Business Investment Act of 1958. NASBIC has played a pivotal role in promoting the growth and vitality of the venture capital industry for more than 40 years.

National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC)
NAIC is the only industry association for investment companies dedicating financial resources to investment in an ethnically diverse marketplace. NAIC member companies invest in privately held businesses that have a high probability of growth and the ability to generate significant returns for investors and shareholders. Today, NAIC member firms represent more than $4 billion in capital under management and include leading private equity firms, SBICs, and investment companies chartered by state and local governments. These experienced investors seek to fund companies that offer cutting-edge products and services within fast-growing markets.
