Subject:	Accounting Database for the Evaluation of Performance
		Trends (ADEPT) 

Attached is a copy of a letter dated July 7, 1997, from the U.S.
Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS) regarding its reengineering
of ADEPT.  FMS plans to reengineer ADEPT to an in house, client/server
platform to provide FMS with a quick, efficient way to produce reports
in an environment of ever-changing requirements and data needs.  It is
important to note that Federal agency access to the current ADEPT system
will be terminated on August 30, 1997.
