Center for Information Technology Accommodations (CITA) Showcase

Workers today need access to electronic and information technology. Assistive devices help employees with visual, auditory or mobility impairments to participate fully in the modern workplace. GSA’s Center for Information Technology Accommodations (CITA) Showcase presents the latest assistive devices. Demonstrations are provided for those who need to use or understand the function of these devices.

Section 508 is an amendment to the Rehabilitation Act that requires federal agencies to make electronic and information technology accessible. Compliance with Section 508 means that the digital divide will not widen for physically impaired individuals.
